Kambo Health Initiative (KHI) is a dynamic not-for-profit organisation that is committed to bridging the gaps that continue to fuel adverse maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health outcomes. We believe in communities where families everywhere have the opportunity to lead healthy lives. We are a team of experts dedicated to enhancing health outcomes in rapidly growing communities.
Our mission is to advance equitable, high-quality maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent, and youth health in Zambia by integrating urban health, social health, and clinical practice, empowering communities, and championing human rights-based approaches that eliminate health disparities and uplift the most vulnerable.

How We Started
Kambo Health Initiative was established with a clear objective: to close the gap in healthcare quality for marginalized groups in Zambia. Our journey began as a grassroots effort and has evolved into a robust network focused on providing medical aid and kindness to residents in need.
Our signature path is Human-centered maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health solutions grounded in both clinical excellence and community power.
